“I have been going to Paul at Confident Hearing for some time now. When I first had microsuction from him it was miraculous. I hadn’t realised he had his radio on when I went in for my appointment because I couldn’t hear it. I asked him what the noise was and of course it was the radio, it was amazing. I’d had microsuction many times before at other places but never a result like this. I was so happy and relieved to find such a caring audiologist. I went on to have the hearing aids Paul supplies, but not until I had grilled him at quite a few visits about the details. He was always happy to chat and I never felt pressured to buy them. The hearing aids have helped me become less anxious about picking up what people are saying because they are excellent and fit so well. The aftercare from Paul is second to none. He is so supportive and will see me very quickly if I have a problem and if he is able to at that time, but if he can’t another date will be given immediately.
I feel that having a good audiologist like Paul is vital when you suffer from hearing loss. He seems to understand immediately what’s going on and that helps me to feel peaceful and confident, which is exactly what I needed.

Ear Wax Removal
Ear-wax removal can be carried out using several different methods, such as syringing, micro suction or irrigation, with the most appropriate being determined during the consultation. Microsuction uses a safe procedure to extract wax causing outer ear-channel blockages and has now become the most preferred procedure now provided by audiologists.
The price for an appointment costs £70.
Hearing Tests
If your hearing is impaired and there is no wax blockage present then a full hearing assessment using industry-standard testing equipment may be necessary. This will be conducted along with a full patient-questionnaire during the consultation.
The price for the appointment will be £80
Hearing Aids
There are hundreds of hearing aids on the market and from various manufacturers at differing levels of quality and technology level, and at first glance the choice may be a little overwhelming.
We only use technology that’s proven reliable and gives great results. As we are not tied to using any one particular supplier you can be sure that you are going to receive recommendations based purely on what is best for your needs and desired results.
